About AutoRMS
AutoRMS is a growing national business managing vehicle warranty and repair campaigns, working directly with automotive OEM manufacturers and an established repair network across Australia. We bring together vehicle assessment, repair coordination and logistics to deliver an efficient, professional service for our manufacturer partners and their customers.
As we continue to expand, we’re looking for an experienced Assessment Centre Manager to help launch our new Brisbane Assessment Centre. This is an opportunity to join the business at an exciting stage of growth, help shape the centre’s day-to-day operations and represent AutoRMS in Queensland.
You’ll play a key role in getting the centre up and running, building strong relationships with our repair partners and delivering a great customer experience from day one.
Assessment Manager | AutoRMS
AutoRMS is looking for an experienced automotive repair professional to join our team as an Assessment Manager.
This hands-on role combines vehicle assessing and estimating with repair coordination, parts ordering, quality control and customer service. You’ll represent AutoRMS in your state, report directly to upper management and work closely with our business and repair network to keep vehicles moving efficiently through the repair process. You’ll also help ensure completed vehicles are presented to a high standard when returned to site and delivered to clients.

About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing vehicle damage and preparing accurate repair estimates.
- Submitting assessments and estimates for approval and following up on progress.
- Working with the wider business as the AutoRMS state representative.
- Assisting with vehicle and job allocations across our repair network.
- Ordering parts and coordinating with suppliers to support repairs and maintain job timelines.
- Monitoring parts availability and following up on delays or issues that may affect repair progress.
- Assisting with vehicle transport arrangements.
- Conducting quality control checks to ensure repairs have been completed to the required standard.
- Ensuring all vehicles returned to the site are clean, presentable and ready to be delivered to clients.
- Welcoming customers on arrival, explaining the next steps and providing professional, friendly service.
- Liaising with clients throughout the repair process and maintaining clear communication regarding repair plans, timelines and expectations.
- Communicating with customers, repairers, suppliers and the AutoRMS team to keep jobs on track.
- Following jobs through to completion and helping resolve any issues that arise.
- Reporting directly to upper management and providing updates on job progress, repair issues, parts and operational matters.
- Contributing ideas and assisting with the continued development and growth of AutoRMS.
About you
You’ll bring:
- Experience in the automotive repair industry, including vehicle assessing and estimating.
- A sound understanding of vehicle damage, repair methods and repair processes.
- Experience with quality control and checking completed repairs.
- Experience ordering automotive parts and coordinating with suppliers.
- Strong customer service skills and a confident, approachable manner.
- Explicit communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients, repairers, suppliers and internal teams.
- Good organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A practical approach to solving problems and following jobs through to completion.
- A commitment to ensuring vehicles are presented professionally before being returned to clients.
- The ability to work independently while communicating effectively with upper management and the wider team.
- A proactive attitude and an interest in developing and growing with the business.
Were looking for
Dealership management or panel shop management experience will be highly regarded, particularly if you’ve overseen daily operations, coordinated repair workflows, managed supplier relationships and maintained high standards of quality and customer service. We’re looking for someone who can bring that practical leadership experience to help establish our Brisbane Assessment Centre, take ownership of day-to-day activities and support the continued growth of AutoRMS.
