Are you a Registered Nurse looking to broaden your oncology experience while enjoying the benefits of Monday-to-Friday hours?

GenesisCare is now looking for a Registered Nurse to join our close-knit team at our Joondalup Oncology Centre.

This is a part-time position, working 7 days a fortnight across both Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology. You'll work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality care and support to patients throughout their treatment.

More specifically, you will:

- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring patients' physical, emotional and psychological needs are met.
- Support patients receiving Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology treatments, including patient education, clinical assessment, symptom management and monitoring and management of treatment-related side effects.
- Undertake direct patient care including medication administration and wound care in accordance with clinical protocols and scope of practice.
- Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, nursing colleagues, Patient Services and allied health professionals.
- Ensure patient assessments, interactions and interventions are appropriately documented, communicated and actioned.
- Contribute to best-practice oncology nursing through adherence to clinical guidelines, procedures and medication management protocols.

We're looking for someone who has:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Ideally, a minimum of 2 years' post-graduate nursing experience.
- Oncology experience is highly regarded, but not essential - we are happy to support the right nurse to develop their oncology skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills,



with the ability to provide compassionate care to patients and their families.
- Well-developed clinical assessment, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to quality improvement, best practice and the NSQHS Standards.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Wound care experience would be advantageous.
- Confidence using electronic clinical systems and Microsoft Office.
