We are seeking an outstanding and passionate Teacher – Visual Art specialist teacher to join our Junior School on a permanent, full-time basis from the 2027 academic year.

The Role

This is a permanent, full-time position, commencing in the 2027 academic year, Monday 18 January 2027, providing specialist leadership and teaching of Visual Art to students in the Junior School (Prep–Year 6) to access, participate in and achieve success across the curriculum.

- Creating inclusive, engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences that build artistic knowledge, skills, confidence and creative agency.

- Knowing students deeply and using assessment, feedback and differentiation to support individual growth.

- Integrating the Australian Curriculum and PYP framework to deliver purposeful, inquiry-rich learning.

- Creating warm, respectful and well-managed classrooms where students feel known, safe and ready to learn.

- Contributing actively to a collaborative professional culture focused on reflection, improvement and shared practice.

- Holds current Queensland College of Teacher registration (QCT)



and relevant tertiary qualifications.

Experience in PYP and inquiry-based learning is highly desirable.

Employment Classification

The salary and conditions of employment for Academic staff are in accordance with the Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association (PMSA) Enterprise Agreement 2025, as varied or replaced from time-to-time.
