ADX Depot is looking for a switched-on, organised team player to join our warehouse team, with primary responsibility for Inwards Goods.
Inwards Goods will be your main area of ownership, but this isn’t a role where you stand around waiting for the next truck to arrive.
When Inwards Goods is under control, you’ll be right alongside your teammates in the warehouse, picking orders, getting stock ready and making sure our valued customers get what they need, when they need it.
At ADX, everyone gets stuck in and helps each other out.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Receiving and unloading incoming deliveries safely and efficiently
• Checking stock against purchase orders and delivery paperwork
• Identifying shortages, damages and incorrect deliveries before they become a problem
• Making sure stock is receipted correctly and accurately
• Getting incoming stock put away quickly and into the right locations
• Keeping the Inwards Goods area clean, organised and under control
• Picking and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Helping your warehouse teammates get orders ready and out the door
• Keeping stock organised and helping maintain accurate stock levels
• Working closely with Purchasing, Warehouse, Trade Counter and Despatch
• Jumping in wherever needed to help the team get the job done
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Previous Inwards Goods or warehouse experience
• Forklift licence preferred
• Strong attention to detail — you pick up things other people miss
• Someone who can work at pace without sacrificing accuracy
• Good computer skills and confidence working with inventory systems
• Someone who takes ownership instead of passing problems on
• Reliable, organised and able to prioritise your day
• A genuine team player who is happy to help wherever needed
• Someone who understands that when your work is done, you help your teammate with theirs
Building materials experience would be great, but it’s not essential. Attitude, work ethic and being a good teammate matter more to us.
