About the role

This is a hands-on bench role for an experienced jeweller who is confident taking on complex, high-value and one-of-a-kind work, while also helping strengthen the standard and capability of the wider manufacturing team. You will take ownership of some of the more technically challenging work, support troubleshooting when something does not go to plan, and share your knowledge with the jewellers working around you. You will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager and alongside the broader production, bespoke and design teams.

Key responsibilities

- Manufacture complex and high-value fine jewellery from start to finish, including fabrication, setting and finishing

- Work across diamond pieces, engagement rings, wedding pieces, bespoke jewellery and one-of-a-kind designs

- Complete repairs, resizes, remakes and restoration work, including pieces with sentimental or significant value

- Help maintain a consistently high standard of craftsmanship across the workshop

- Identify potential issues early and work with the team to find the best solution

- Support and train jewellers and apprentices at the bench, sharing techniques and experience openly

- Provide practical feedback on manufacturing processes, tolerances, techniques and areas where we can continue to improve

- Work collaboratively with CAD, Bespoke and Production teams to ensure pieces move smoothly from design through to completion

About you

- A trade qualification in jewellery manufacture, or equivalent bench experience





- At least five years' experience producing fine jewellery in precious metals and working with valuable stones

- Solid skills across fabrication, stone setting and finishing

- Experience with laser welding

- Confidence working from CAD files and technical drawings

- Experience working carefully on existing, antique or sentimental jewellery

- A high level of attention to detail and pride in your finished work

- A willingness to share knowledge and support the development of less experienced jewellers

- The confidence to speak up early when you see a technical issue or a better way of approaching something
