Head of Operations

Fast-Growing Legal, Property & Technology Group

We are looking for an exceptional Head of Operations to help build the infrastructure behind a fast-growing group spanning legal services, property and legal technology.

We currently have approximately 15 employees and are building toward a team of 50. This role will be central to that growth.

Reporting directly to the Directors and working alongside the Head of Legal Operations, you will take ownership of the group’s operational and administrative function. We are looking for someone who can bring structure, accountability and execution to a business moving quickly.

This is a broad, hands-on leadership role for a genuine business operations all-rounder.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the group runs effectively and that the systems, people and processes required for growth are in place.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Building, documenting and improving operational systems and processes;

- Managing and developing administrative and operational team members;

- Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures;

- Monitoring performance, deadlines and accountability across the business;

- Producing management reports and interpreting operational and financial data;

- Working confidently across business software, IT systems and reporting platforms;

- Coordinating recruitment, onboarding, suppliers and external service providers;

- Managing projects across the legal, property and technology businesses;

- Identifying problems early and ensuring they are resolved;

- Providing the Directors with clear visibility over performance, risks and priorities.





You will be expected to delegate effectively, but this is not a role for someone who manages entirely from a distance. When something needs to be done, you should be willing and capable of stepping in and getting it done.

About You

You are highly organised, commercially minded and accountable.

You take ownership of outcomes rather than waiting to be directed. You are comfortable managing people, enforcing standards and having difficult conversations when required.

You understand systems and process, are confident with technology and data, and can turn information into clear recommendations and action.

You are also adaptable. In a growing business, priorities move quickly and the role will span a wide range of projects and responsibilities.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone dedicated and committed who wants to build something over the long term.

Experience in professional services, legal practice management, technology, property or another fast-growth environment would be highly regarded.
