Credwell is seeking an experienced Senior ESD Consultant to lead the delivery of sustainability consulting projects and contribute to the continued growth of our Energy & Sustainability team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded professional looking to combine project leadership, client engagement, mentoring, and business development within a respected multidisciplinary consultancy. We are looking for someone who is passionate about sustainable building outcomes and delivering practical, high-quality advice that helps clients achieve compliance and sustainability objectives.

The Role

You will:

- Lead the delivery of ESD consulting projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial, and mixed-use developments.

- Prepare and review BASIX Certificates, Section J DTS Assessments, J1V3 Performance Solutions, NatHERS Modelling, NABERS assessments, Green Star submissions, Hygrothermal Modelling, and embodied carbon assessments.

- Provide expert advice relating to NCC energy efficiency requirements, sustainability compliance, and building performance outcomes.

- Liaise directly with clients, architects, developers, certifiers, builders, and regulatory authorities.

- Conduct sustainability audits and site inspections to verify compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Lead client meetings, presentations, and technical workshops.

- Mentor and develop junior consultants while promoting technical excellence and quality outcomes.

- Contribute to fee proposals, business development activities, and the ongoing growth of Credwell's Sustainability and ESD capability.

About You

- Degree qualified in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or a related discipline.





- 5+ years' experience in ESD or sustainability consulting.

- NatHERS Accredited Assessor and NABERS Accredited Qualified

- Strong experience delivering BASIX, Section J DTS, J1V3, NatHERS, NABERS, and Green Star projects.

- Experience using BERS Pro, HERO, IES VE, or similar industry software.

- Strong understanding of the NCC, energy efficiency requirements, and sustainability rating tools.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and build strong client relationships.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and report writing skills.

- Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing junior consultants.

- Other Industry accreditation such as Green Star Accredited Professional, or equivalent highly regarded.
