Brand Design Manager — International SME Fintech Summary

- Role: Brand Design Manager
- Location: Toorak, Melbourne
- Work arrangement: Full-time, office-based; Australian work rights required and sponsorship is not available
- Compensation: AUD 110,000–130,000 plus super

You’ll join a fast-growing international fintech that provides flexible funding solutions to support SME growth. Originally launched in Australia, the business has expanded across APAC and Europe and has funded more than $5B in loans.
What you'll do

- Lead a substantial global rebrand in partnership with senior leaders, marketing leadership, and an external brand agency.
- Turn the new identity into a practical visual system that works across web, campaigns, paid, social, lifecycle, sales collateral, and events.
- Stay hands-on with priority design work, developing solid visual concepts and polished execution across digital and brand touchpoints.
- Build and maintain scalable design systems, templates, Figma and Canva libraries, and brand assets that other teams can actually use.
- Protect brand consistency across markets and channels while making sure the brand translates well into real digital experiences.
- Mentor the Creative Coordinator through briefs, feedback, creative direction, reviews, and day-to-day development support.

Who we're looking for This role will suit you if you’re a senior brand and digital designer who enjoys owning the work end to end, not just directing it.
Must-haves:

- Strong brand and digital design experience, including leading or helping implement a substantial rebrand or new visual identity.
- A portfolio that shows high-quality hands-on work across brand, web, campaigns, paid, social, lifecycle, and collateral.
- Experience turning brand direction into a usable visual system, including design systems, templates, guidelines,



and asset libraries.
- Advanced Figma, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite capability.
- Senior individual contributor or early people-manager experience, with the judgement to work with senior stakeholders, guide an agency, and mentor one designer while staying close to delivery.

Nice-to-haves:

- Experience in fast-moving, marketing-led environments with multiple channels and stakeholders running at once.
- Experience working across more than one market or supporting global brand rollout.
- Exposure to regulated B2B services environments.
