Landscape Labourer

Salary: $33 - $35

We have an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable Landscape Labourer to join our client, a reputable landscaping business servicing the Geelong, Surf Coast and Bellarine Peninsula areas. This is a hands-on chance suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically capable, and takes pride in delivering high-quality landscaping work.

About the role

In this role, you will work alongside the landscaping team to assist with a range of outdoor projects, including garden transformations, turf installation, paving, retaining walls, decking and other landscaping works. You will play an important role in preparing sites, handling materials and equipment, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Assist with landscaping projects including garden transformations, turf installation, paving, retaining walls and outdoor construction
* Prepare work sites by clearing, digging, levelling, excavating and preparing soil and surfaces
* Assist with the installation of natural and synthetic turf, garden beds, plants, mulch and other landscaping materials
* Support the construction and installation of retaining walls, paving, decking and other landscape features
* Safely operate and maintain landscaping tools, equipment and machinery as required
* Load,



unload and transport soil, turf, plants, pavers, timber, tools and other materials to and from work sites
* Maintain clean, organised and safe work areas while ensuring projects are completed to a high standard
* Work collaboratively with the landscaping team, following instructions and workplace health and safety procedures

About you

- Proven, hands-on experience in landscaping, gardening, grounds maintenance or general labouring
* Strong ability to work with landscaping tools, equipment and materials safely and efficiently
* A proactive, reliable and hardworking attitude with strong attention to detail
* Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in various weather conditions

Qualifications and experience

- Certificate or qualification in Horticulture, Landscaping, Gardening, or a related field
OR
* Equivalent hands-on experience in landscaping, gardening, grounds maintenance, or general labouring
