About the opportunity
As a HR Business Partner, you will be a trusted adviser to leaders and managers across Healthdirect, combining commercial judgement, employee relations expertise and digital capability to improve people decisions and manager effectiveness. You will manage employee relations matters from early-stage coaching through to complex casework and investigations, deliver our WHS and wellbeing, performance, talent, remuneration and employee experience programs
About You
You bring sound judgement on risk, procedural fairness and Australian employment legislation, translating policies and frameworks into practical guidance. You use HR systems, workforce data and reporting tools to identify trends, improve processes and support evidence-based decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations matters from early-stage coaching through to complex casework, grievances and workplace investigations.
- Lead WHS and wellbeing delivery, including policies, the annual wellbeing calendar, workers compensation, return-to-work planning, investigations and risk reviews.
- Deliver Healthdirect's performance, talent, remuneration and employee experience programs and cycles, including manager guidance, completion tracking and calibration support.
- Use insights from business partnering, employee relations casework, engagement results, cycle delivery and workforce data to improve policies, processes and manager guidance.
What you'll bring to the role
- HR business partnering experience,
with a track record of building trusted relationships, constructively challenging leaders and coaching managers across the employee lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, with sound judgement on risk and procedural fairness.
- Current and applied knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, WHS legislation (including psychosocial safety obligations) and anti-discrimination legislation.
- Experience or interest in supporting wellbeing programs, and occasional management of workers compensation, and return-to-work planning.
- Experience delivering performance, talent, remuneration and employee experience programs and cycles
- Comfortable using workforce data, reporting tools and AI-assisted approaches to inform people decisions.
