The Role
As our Logistics Coordinator, you'll be the backbone of our despatch operations, working alongside an experienced team member to keep materials flowing smoothly. This isn't a typical warehouse role – you'll combine hands-on forklift work with inventory oversight, ensuring our production team has what they need, when they need it.
Your Day-to-Day
- Operate forklifts for materials handling and warehouse logistics
- Coordinate collections with suppliers and customers
- Strap and wrap pallets, then load trucks for despatch
- Make customer deliveries using the company van (manual transmission)
- Receive and verify inbound goods and materials
- Take ownership of inventory accuracy through our management systems
- Contribute to stocktake planning and execution
What you'll bring
- Current forklift license (LF) – this is essential
- Valid driver's license for van deliveries
- Solid warehouse and logistics experience with a track record of reliability
- Confidence with inventory management (we'll train you on our specific systems)
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks
- Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- A proactive attitude and team-player mindset
