Customer Service Officer - 12 Month Fixed Term (Maternity Leave Cover)

We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Customer Service Officer to join our team based at our Naval Base depot on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities

Data entry of current shipments into the system - Imports and Exports

- Processing new shipments via Web Orders and EDI systems
- Data entry of Electronic Delivery Orders (EDOs)
- Follow up outstanding EDOs and clearances as required
- Monitor and track containers without vessel allocation (TBA) for import and export shipments
- Coordinate AQIS quarantine and underbond requirements
- Provide support to team members as required
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer expectations
- Deliver positive and professional customer service interactions across all departments

About You

Previous experience within the transport,



logistics or freight industry and/or a similar customer service role is desirable

- High attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting the wider team
- Exceptional telephone manner and communication skills
- Professional email etiquette
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software
- Positive, approachable and customer-focused attitude
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills

Employment Details
