The Chance: As the Head Welder, your primary focus will be on maintaining the quality and efficiency that our brand is known for. You will ensure our unique, patented staging systems are fabricated to precise specifications, whilst managing your workflow in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Fabricating a variety of staging system projects efficiently and to a high standard.
- Work from shop drawings and measurements to ensure finished products meet project requirements.
- Cutting, drilling, grinding and MIG welding.
- Working closely with various departments to help deliver our projects.
- Operate all workshop machinery and tools safely and correctly.
- Keep your work area clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
Who You Are (Ideal Candidate Profile):
- Experienced:
You have 5+ years’ experience as a welder with relevant welding tickets.
- Skilled: You will have strong MIG welding skills in Aluminium and Steel.
- Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in the quality of your work.
- A Great Team Player: You are reliable, professional, and work well with others in a team environment.
- A Quick Learner: You are proficient in learning new systems and processes, and applying your experience to new contexts.
- Safety-Focused: You have a strong commitment to keeping yourself and your teammates safe at all times.
