Location: Enoggera, Brisbane QLD
Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time - 8 hours per week
Monday and Thursday (9am-1pm)

About the Role
We are currently seeking a friendly, organised and proactive Administration Assistant to join the Enoggera Parish team. This is an exciting opportunity to support a newly established parish office, helping to build effective administrative systems while contributing to the mission and ministry of the Catholic Church. Reporting to the Parish Manager, you will provide general administrative and office support while assisting in the ongoing development of new systems and processes as the parish office continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the parish office.
- Assist with reception, correspondence and general enquiries.
- Maintain parish records and databases.
- Prepare parish newsletters, certificates and routine documentation.
- Support sacramental administration and parish record keeping.
- Assist with filing, scanning, mail distribution and document management.
- Provide backup administrative support across the parish office as required.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
- An understanding of, and respect for, the mission and values of the Catholic Church.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- A willingness to learn parish administration systems such as PACS and Flocknote.
- A current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one).
- A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
