Bacchus Marsh Grammar is seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join our teaching community for 2027. This is an exciting chance to teach across the Middle and Senior School, from Years 5–12, with positions available at either our Maddingley or Woodlea Campus. Successful applicants will commence in Term 1, 2027.

About the Role

Successful applicants will work collaboratively with leadership, teaching teams, and families to deliver engaging, differentiated learning programs that foster student growth, wellbeing, and academic achievement.

- Mathematics, including General Maths, Math Methods and Specialist Maths
- Physics

Key responsibilities

- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging and structured learning experiences.
- Create inclusive, supportive, and calm classroom environments that promote student learning and wellbeing.
- Use assessment data to inform and refine teaching practice.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on student progress and achievement.
- Maintain strong learning outcomes through rigorous assessment, timely feedback and continuous improvement.
- Support student wellbeing, pastoral care, and positive relationships.
- Participate actively in enrichment (co-curricular) programs and school events.

Requirements

- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration.
- Relevant teaching qualifications.
- Commitment to child safety and wellbeing.

Desirable:

- Experience teaching senior secondary subjects, including VCE, will be highly regarded.
- A first aid certificate.
- Valid driver’s licence.

The salary range is $87,707 to $131,515 per annum plus superannuation, depending on the successful applicant’s skills, qualifications, and years of teaching experience, as per the Bacchus Marsh Grammar Enterprise Agreement 2022.
