Mechanical Electrical & BMS Site Supervisor

About the Role

Titanium Energy is looking for an experienced Mechanical Electrical & BMS Site Supervisor to become a key part of our growing Sydney team.

This is a hands-on leadership position for a well-rounded electrician who can deliver Mechanical Electrical and HVAC controls work, lead site teams and take ownership of site delivery.

You’ll need strong practical experience across Mechanical Electrical installations, BMS and HVAC controls, MSSBs, VSDs, controls wiring, testing, commissioning and fault-finding.

Initially, you’ll work predominantly on the tools while leading electricians, apprentices and trade assistants. As the role develops, you’ll have the opportunity to become more involved in project delivery, planning, client coordination and ultimately progress into Project Management.

This role would suit an established Leading Hand or Supervisor, or a highly capable senior electrician ready to take the next step.

About Titanium Energy

Titanium Energy is a specialist contractor delivering Mechanical Electrical, BMS and HVAC Controls projects across commercial sites.

Our work includes complete Mechanical Electrical packages, Mechanical Services Switchboards, HVAC power and controls, BMS installations and integrations, plant upgrades, testing and commissioning.

We take pride in quality workmanship, practical problem-solving and building strong, long-term relationships with our clients. As the business grows, we want to create genuine career opportunities for capable people who are ready to take ownership and develop with us.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll take responsibility for your own work while leading and coordinating the site team. Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out Mechanical Electrical, HVAC controls and BMS installation works.

- Installing and working with VSDs, control panels, field devices and associated controls.

- Installing, modifying and retrofitting Mechanical Services Switchboards.

- Completing controls testing, commissioning and fault-finding.

- Diagnosing and resolving electrical and controls faults across mechanical services installations.

- Leading and coordinating electricians, apprentices and trade assistants.

- Allocating work and ensuring the site team has the information, materials and equipment required.

- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and project documentation.

- Coordinating with Project Managers, mechanical contractors, builders, clients and other trades.

- Monitoring site progress and identifying programme, access and coordination issues early.

- Identifying variations, delays and additional works and communicating them promptly.

- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and compliance.

- Completing testing, commissioning and site documentation accurately and on time.

- Supporting and mentoring less-experienced members of the team.

About You

We’re looking for someone with strong BMS and HVAC controls experience, combined with broad Mechanical Electrical capability.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- A current NSW Electrical Licence and relevant electrical qualifications.

- Practical experience working with BMS and HVAC control systems.

- Strong Mechanical Electrical installation experience.

- Experience with controls wiring, testing, commissioning and fault-finding.

- Experience installing and working with VSDs.

- Experience installing, modifying or working with MSSBs.

- Strong electrical testing and problem-solving skills.

- The ability to confidently read electrical drawings and control schematics.

- Previous experience leading electricians or coordinating site activities.

- Strong communication skills when dealing with clients, Project Managers and other trades.

- A practical, organised and solutions-focused approach.

- Full Australian working rights.

- Willingness to travel or work away on regional projects when required.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is technically capable,

reliable and comfortable taking ownership on site—someone who wants to become a key part of the business and grow into greater project responsibility.

Career Development

This position is intended to develop beyond a purely site-based role.

As you demonstrate your capability, you’ll have the opportunity to become increasingly involved in:

- Project planning and delivery.

- Labour, materials and programme coordination.

- Client and contractor communication.

- Technical and commercial project decisions.

- Managing multiple projects and site teams.

- Project Management.

There is a genuine opportunity for the right person to progress from a hands-on Site Supervisor into a broader Project Management role as Titanium Energy continues to grow.

Personal Attributes

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Reliable, punctual and accountable.

- Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions on site.

- A strong communicator with clients, management and the site team.

- Practical and solutions-focused.

- Organised and able to plan ahead.

- Capable of leading and supporting others.

- Able to follow company systems while also using initiative.

- Committed to safety and high-quality workmanship.

- Proud of their work, their team and the finished project.

What We Offer

- $55–$65 per hour + super, depending on experience and capability.

- Company vehicle and fuel card.

- Interesting commercial Mechanical Electrical, HVAC controls and BMS projects.

- Exposure to technically challenging installations and upgrades.

- A hands-on role with genuine responsibility and autonomy.

- Supportive and team-oriented working environment.

- Ongoing technical and leadership development.

- A clear opportunity to progress towards Project Management.

- Long-term career opportunity within a growing specialist business.

If you’re an experienced Mechanical Electrical electrician with strong BMS and controls capability—and you’re ready to take ownership, lead site teams and progress your career—we’d like to hear from you.

Apply with your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your Mechanical Electrical, BMS, controls and site leadership experience.
