About the Position
The Lecturer – Plumbing (Workplace Assessor) delivers high-quality VET training and assessment across classroom, workshop and workplace settings. Working within ASQA standards and the VET Quality Framework, you will support student success, industry engagement and workforce development while delivering training aligned to the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package.

About You
To be successful, you will have:

- A plumbing trade qualification with at least 5 years of relevant post-trade industry experience.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent), or the ability to obtain this within 12 months of commencement.
- Experience delivering training and workplace assessment within the plumbing industry.
- Knowledge of competency-based training and assessment practices.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with learners, industry and stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Flexibility to travel and work across remote locations when required.
- A commitment to CDU's values.

Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory National Criminal History check and a valid NT Working with Children clearance

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at VET Teaching Focused Academic Level A. Base salary range: $76,604 - $114,924 per annum. Total remuneration package: $89,626 - $134,461 per annum including 17% superannuation.
