About the prospect

We’re looking for a Head of PR, Communications & Events to lead how frank green shows up in the world across Australia and New Zealand. Our preference is to find someone who wants to join us full-time on a permanent basis, but we’re also open to an experienced candidate joining us on a six-month fixed-term contract.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who knows how to build relevance, shape reputation, create cultural moments and turn great ideas into stories people actually want to talk about. You’ll lead PR, earned media, corporate communications, executive storytelling and events, working closely with our Brand, Creative, Social, Digital, Sales and People & Culture teams.

Things move quickly here. Priorities shift. Opportunities appear without politely booking themselves into the annual comms plan. We’re looking for someone who can keep pace, think differently and make things happen.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll own frank green’s PR, communications and events strategy across Australia and New Zealand, balancing big-picture thinking with hands-on execution. You’ll:

- Lead PR, earned media, reputation and external communications strategy
- Build strong relationships with journalists, media, creators and industry voices
- Find and pitch stories around our products, design,



sustainability, partnerships and cultural moments
- Manage reactive media enquiries, issues and reputation risks with speed and sound judgement
- Lead executive communications, thought leadership and major business announcements
- Partner with Brand, Creative, Social and Marketing teams to integrate PR into campaigns from the beginning
- Create and deliver consumer, product, retail, partner and corporate events and experiences
- Manage event concepts, budgets, suppliers, logistics and ROI
- Lead external PR agencies and specialist partners
- Monitor media, trends and public sentiment to identify new opportunities
- Help ensure frank green stays relevant, interesting and talked about for the right reasons

About you

You’re an experienced PR and communications leader who can develop the strategy and still roll up your sleeves to deliver it. You’ll ideally bring:

- Senior experience across PR, communications, events and brand reputation
- Experience within a consumer, lifestyle, premium or luxury brand
- Strong media relationships and an instinct for what makes a great story
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills
- Experience managing issues, reactive communications or crisis situations
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leaders
- A strong eye for brand, design and detail




- Experience in a fast-growth, entrepreneurial or founder-led environment
- The ability to move quickly without compromising quality
- Confidence challenging the obvious idea and bringing forward something better

You’ll be calm under pressure, commercially aware, comfortable with ambiguity and genuinely excited by a role where no two weeks are likely to look quite the same. Some events and media activity will fall outside traditional business hours, so flexibility is important too.
