Accountant — Full time

Location: Seven Hills NSW 2147 Salary: $35–$45 per hour

We are a rapid‑growing business in the building and construction sector, specialising in the manufacturing and installation of ductwork and sheet metal fabrication. Our operations run at high volume and high speed, where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Based in Seven Hills, we are seeking a full‑time Accountant to join our agile team and support the financial management of the business.

About the Role

As the Accountant, you will oversee the financial administration of the company and work closely with the Group Accountant. With the Group Accountant transitioning into a more senior role, we are looking for someone reliable, proactive, and capable of supporting the broader accounting and finance functions. This position involves financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, and day‑to‑day financial operations. You will report directly to the Group Accountant and occasionally to the Director.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain financial reports,



including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements
Prepare manufacturing budgets and cost analysis
Manage cashflow and daily cash position
Review and approve Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Finalise payroll and review accounting journal entries
Perform and maintain account and bank reconciliations
Prepare and lodge GST, BAS, PAYGW, Payroll Tax, and Workers Compensation reports
Assist with other ad hoc tasks as required

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Certificate IV in Accounting or Bookkeeping
At least 3 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Xero and Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Reliable, punctual, highly organised, and a quick learner

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
