As the Payroll Officer, you’ll work within an established team to run end-to-end payrolls across a number of entities, while also providing payroll and leave advice, supporting HRIS processes, reporting and compliance, and helping improve payroll systems and processes.

Your responsibilities will include:
Process accurate end-to-end payroll, including month-end, superannuation and year-end
Manage leave, long service leave, parental leave and other employee entitlements
Provide payroll and leave advice to employees and managers
Maintain accurate payroll and employee records
Interpret employment conditions, agreements and legislative requirements
Manage payroll reconciliations, reporting and compliance
Investigate and resolve payroll queries and discrepancies
Assist with HRIS data validation, audits and reporting
Support system testing, documentation and process improvements
Work collaboratively with HR and internal stakeholders on payroll-related projects

What you’ll bring





For this role, you’ll be an experienced Payroll Officer who understands that outstanding payroll is about more than numbers; it’s about accuracy, service, communication and getting things right.
You’ll ideally have:
Robust end-to-end payroll experience
Knowledge of payroll legislation, awards and employment conditions
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preceda or Dayforce Payroll experience is highly regarded, but not essential
Working with Children Check clearance is required prior to commencement.
