We are currently looking for an experienced Senior WHS Officer to join an established WA-based manufacturing business.

This is a senior, high-visibility position reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, providing the opportunity to take ownership of WHS/HSE initiatives and make a genuine impact across the organisation.

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the organisation's WHS/HSE systems, working closely with senior leadership, managers and employees across the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing WHS/HSE advice and support across the business
Developing and improving safety systems, policies and procedures
Conducting workplace inspections and risk assessments
Leading incident investigations and corrective actions
Supporting injury management and workers compensation processes
Monitoring WHS performance, KPIs and compliance
Supporting audits, training, inductions and contractor management
Driving continuous improvement and a robust safety culture

The role is hands-on and highly visible, so you'll need to be comfortable getting out into the operation, engaging with people at all levels and turning safety requirements into practical outcomes.

About You





We’re looking for a confident and experienced WHS/HSE skilled with a practical approach and strong stakeholder skills.

Ideally, you will have:
Cert IV in WHS/OHS or equivalent
4+ years' relevant WHS/HSE experience
Experience within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, resources or another high-risk environment
Solid incident investigation experience
Experience with injury management and workers compensation
Valuable knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance
Experience developing or improving WHS/HSE systems
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
C Class driver's licence

Experience with auditing, training, ISO systems or environmental compliance will be highly regarded.
