We are looking for a reliable and experienced Casual Retail Assistant to join our team at our seafood store in Marrickville.

This position is primarily for our closing shift, with the opportunity for more shifts once you are trained and confident in the role.

Location: Marrickville

Hours: 1:00pm – 8:00pm

Days: Tuesday & Thursday, with the prospect for additional shifts

About You:
Fluent in English with good communication skills
Previous seafood retail and customer service experience is essential
Friendly and confident when dealing with customers
Reliable, hardworking and able to work well as part of a team
Comfortable working afternoon/evening shifts
Able to work independently and take responsibility for closing the store

Duties Include:




Serving customers and providing outstanding customer service
Answering customer enquiries about seafood
Weighing, wrapping and labelling seafood
Seafood preparation
Stock rotation and restocking
Cleaning and maintaining the store
Setting up and packing away
Closing duties and ensuring the store is clean and ready for the next day
