Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Truck Driver / Yard Hand to join our Dispatch Team.
This is a permanent full-time position for the right person, working Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm, with overtime opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities
Loading & Unloading
Safely and accurately load outgoing delivery vehicles.
Unload incoming raw materials and supplies.
Ensure products are secured and prepared for transport.
Customer Service
Assist customers with collections and deliveries.
Represent Ri Industries in a professional and courteous manner.
Crane & Forklift Operations
Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move concrete products throughout the yard.
Previous overhead crane experience is highly regarded; however, full training will be provided.
Yard & Dispatch Support
Read and interpret delivery dockets.
Strap and secure loads for transport.
Maintain stock organisation and a clean, safe work environment.
Safety & Teamwork
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Wear and maintain appropriate PPE.
Work collaboratively with the production and dispatch teams to meet daily targets.
Deliveries
Transport concrete products and reinforcing mesh between company sites and customer locations when required.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current Forklift Licence (LF) – essential
HR Truck Licence – essential
Vehicle Loading Crane (CV) Ticket (over 10 metre tonne) – preferred but not essential
Reliable and punctual work ethic
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
Solid commitment to workplace health and safety
Reliable transport to and from the workplace
