MCV Holdings is seeking a skilled Crushing and Screening Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team at our Luscombe facility. As a Crushing and Screening Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of diesel engines and machinery used in crushing and screening operations. This position is for an IMMEDIATE START.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines, crushers, screens, dozers, loaders, and excavators
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to determine the root cause and implement effective solutions
Perform repairs and replacements of components to ensure equipment is operating at optimal performance
Follow maintenance schedules and protocols to prevent breakdowns and minimise downtime
Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working workplace
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Diesel Fitter, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or similar role
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Experience working with crushing and screening equipment is preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Trade Qualification in Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (AUR31212) or equivalent
Full time position, with 6 day working weeks Monday to Saturday
Basic computer knowledge to be able to use MCV's app
Current QLD Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Surface Induction highly beneficial
Current drivers licence - MR or higher preferred
