You will be involved in a range of repair and fabrication work, both in the workshop and, where required, onsite. This is a hands on role with plenty of variety. You'll have the opportunity to work across different types of equipment and jobs while continuing to build your skills and experience alongside qualified tradespeople.

About you
Currently completing a Boilermaker/Fabrication apprenticeship in 2nd or 3rd year
Keen to continue developing trade skills and experience
Can show initiative, think for themselves, problem solve and come up with practical solutions
Reliable, motivated and willing to have a go
Works well as part of a small team
Takes pride in their work
Has a current driver's licence and reliable transport
Previous experience with heavy transport, agricultural or earthmoving equipment is an advantage but not essential
About us
Butler Fab is a locally owned and operated business specialising in heavy transport, agricultural and earthmoving repairs, fabrication and onsite welding. We are currently based in Toowoomba and will be relocating approximately 20 minutes west of Toowoomba at the end of 2026.
