JWB Joinery is seeking an experienced, hands-on Cabinet Maker Leading Hand to join our team on a full-time basis.

Duties & responsibilities:
Supervise and lead workshop employees and apprentices
Plan and schedule daily workshop production
Ensure projects are manufactured to specification and quality standards
Coordinate workflow to meet project deadlines
Read and interpret construction drawings and joinery plans
Conduct quality control inspections before items leave the workshop
Manage workshop stock levels and materials and coordinate deliveries with site teams
Mentor apprentices and foster a positive, organised and accountable workplace culture

Qualifications & capabilities:
Trade qualified and experienced tradesman with a background in cabinet making
No prior leadership experience required as full training and support will be provided
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and joinery plans




Good understanding of workshop production processes and quality standards
Comfortable overseeing and mentoring workshop staff and apprentices
Sound knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety requirements
Practical problem-solving ability
