As a Parts Interpreter, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and supplying parts for agricultural and construction machinery. You will work closely with customers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure the correct parts are provided efficiently to minimise downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
Assist customers and workshop staff with parts enquiries, both in person and over the phone
Accurately interpret parts requirements using manuals and electronic catalogues
Process parts orders, quotes, and invoices
Maintain stock levels, including ordering and receipting inventory
Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely parts availability for repairs
Manage parts returns, warranty claims, and supplier communications
Maintain organised and accurate inventory records
Provide a high level of customer service at all times
About you
Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or in a similar role (preferred)
Knowledge of agricultural or construction machinery is highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Valuable organisational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient computer skills and experience with inventory systems
