We’re looking for a passionate and capable Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Technician to join our team Full-Time at Wagga Wagga Veterinary Hospital.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in providing excellent patient care and wants to be part of a supportive, progressive veterinary team.
Your day may include:
Providing hands-on nursing care to medical and surgical patients
Monitoring anaesthesia and recognising changes in patient status
Managing pain, recovery and patient comfort throughout their hospital stay
Assisting veterinarians with consults, procedures and treatments
Coordinating patient admissions, discharges and hospital flow
Communicating with clients and supporting them through their pet’s care
Maintaining accurate clinical records and helping keep the hospital running smoothly
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds a Veterinary Nursing qualification, related qualification or equivalent experience
Is confident, compassionate and committed to high-quality patient care
Has robust communication and teamwork skills
Can stay organised and adapt in a busy hospital workplace
Has great attention to detail and takes pride in their work
Is keen to continue learning and developing their clinical skills
