Samson Diesel Maintenance Pty Ltd (SDM) is looking for experienced Dragline and Shovel Fitters to join our growing team across mine sites in Queensland.

The Role
We are seeking experienced fitters with dragline and/or electric rope shovel maintenance experience for ongoing rostered positions.
Depending on your experience and site requirements, duties may include:
Planned and preventative maintenance
Dragline and shovel maintenance and repairs
Breakdown diagnosis and repairs
Fault finding and troubleshooting
Major component change outs
Equipment inspections and servicing
Mechanical repairs and rebuild work
Completing job reports and maintenance documentation
Working safely in accordance with site and company procedures
What You'll Need
Essential:
Australian recognised Mechanical or Diesel Fitter Trade Qualification
Previous heavy mining equipment maintenance experience
Robust mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting skills
Current Driver Licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
Robust commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Highly Regarded:
Dragline and Shovel experience
Standard 11
