Global Communication Services (GCS) is offering an exciting opportunity for an Electronics & Communications Technician Apprenticeship at our High Wycombe operations in Perth. This is your chance to begin a career in a progressive and in-demand trade within the mining and communications industries.
This role is Perth-based (residential). Candidates must live in the Perth metropolitan area.

The Role
As an Apprentice Electronics & Communications Technician, you will study towards a Certificate III in Electronics and Communications while gaining practical experience with:
Radio communication systems and wide area networks
Fibre optic and data networks
Wi-Fi and remote monitoring technologies
Electronic systems maintenance and repairs
Workshop-based builds and field installations
This Perth-based role may also involve travel to regional and mining locations as projects require.
What We’re Looking For
Current WA Driver’s Licence
Interest in RF, Electronics, ICT, and Networking
Good written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with solid time management
Ability to learn and adapt to current technologies quickly
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy
Commitment to safety at all times
Applicants must pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
