Global Communication Services (GCS) is seeking enthusiastic candidates for an Electronics & Communications Technician Apprenticeship in Kalgoorlie. This is a highly sought-after and progressive trade in the mining industry, offering excellent career prospects.
This is a residential role – only candidates living in the Kalgoorlie region will be considered.

The Role
As an Apprentice Electronics & Communications Technician, you will complete a Certificate III in Electronics and Communications while gaining hands-on experience in:
Underground leaky feeder radio systems
Wide area radio networks
Fibre optic and data networks
Wi-Fi systems
Remote control and monitoring systems
Microwave systems
General electronic repairs
Work will be undertaken across both workshop and field environments.
What We’re Looking For
Current WA Driver’s Licence
Solid interest in RF, Electronics, ICT, and Networking
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Solid time management and self-motivation
Ability to learn new concepts quickly
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy
Willingness to travel within WA and interstate
Commitment to safety
