About the Role

EMH Industries is seeking an experienced and reliable Welder (First Class) to join

our team on a full time basis.

The successful applicant will undertake a range of welding and metal fabrication

work and will be required to work accurately from drawings and specifications while

maintaining high standards of workmanship and workplace safety.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Perform MIG, TIG and other welding processes on various metal components and structures.
Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.
Prepare, cut, shape and position metal components for welding and fabrication.
Set up and operate welding equipment and associated tools.
Weld, join and repair metal components using appropriate welding techniques.
Inspect completed welds to ensure required quality and specifications are met.
Carry out grinding, finishing and general fabrication work as required.
Maintain welding equipment and tools in protected working condition.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
Work independently and collaboratively with other team members to complete projects efficiently.

Skills and Experience





The successful applicant should have:
Relevant trade qualification, such as Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade, or equivalent; or relevant industry experience demonstrating an equivalent level of skills.
Demonstrated practical experience in welding and metal fabrication.
Competency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good knowledge of welding procedures, materials and fabrication methods.
Ability to work accurately with attention to quality and detail.
Strong workplace safety awareness.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good communication and time management skills.

This is a full time position offering an annual salary of $79,456 – $85,000 plus

superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience.
