ARG Painters, a reputable painting and decorating business located in Queensland, is seeking an experienced Painter to join our professional team.

Long term position

Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks
Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Read and interpret plans and specifications
Perform repairs to plaster, render, and timber surfaces as required
Maintain tools and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and building codes
Work collaboratively with team members and communicate clearly with clients

Skills and Experience
Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent international qualification)




At least two years’ post-qualification experience as a painter, preferably in residential or commercial settings
Ability to use a variety of painting tools and surface preparation equipment
Knowledge of colour theory and finishing techniques
Solid attention to detail and high work standards
White Card (General Construction Induction Card) required for Queensland sites
Manual driver’s licence preferred

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $77,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
