We are currently seeking an experienced MR Truck Driver to join a leading national transport and freight company based in Toowoomba.
This is a busy PUD delivery role and would suit someone who enjoys being on the road, is comfortable with a physical workload and understands the pace of working within the transport industry.
What you can expect:
$41.01 per hour casual rate
Monday to Friday ongoing work
Approximately 5:00am starts, finishing around 1:30pm depending on workload
Approximately 30–50 drops per day across retail stores, businesses and warehouses
Driving an MR truck on an allocated delivery run
A high volume of cartons and freight each day
Regular manual handling, loading and unloading of freight
Checking freight and ensuring deliveries are completed accurately
Customer-facing work and regular interaction with clients
Fast-paced environment where reliability and time management are important
To be successful, you will need:
Current MR licence as a minimum
Previous MR delivery or PUD driving experience
Confidence completing a high-volume multi-drop run
Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual handling
Solid customer service and communication skills
Good knowledge of secure loading and unloading practices
Ability to commit to Monday to Friday
Reliable transport to get to the depot for early starts
Full Australian working rights
Available to commence immediately
This is not simply a driving role. You will be managing a busy delivery run with a large volume of cartons and multiple stops each day, so we are looking for someone who understands the physical and quick-paced nature of freight delivery.
