The Yallingup General Store and Cafe is looking for a cook to join our team. We are a extremly busy general store and cafe operating 7 days in Yallingup Western Australia. We pride ourselves in making valuable home cooked food from local ingredients.

Duties include

1) Short order cooking of breakfast and lunch.

2) Preparing salads , quiches, and other food items for sale from our display cabinet

3) Supervising other staff members in the preparation of food

4) Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements

5) Organising and preperation of catering requests including special occasion cakes

6) Quality control : ensuring food is stored correctly, checking temperatures, and dealing with wastage

7) Coordinating with front of house staff regarding specials and menu changes

8) Providing excellent customer service. Dealing with inquiries and complaints in a prompt and respectable manor

9) Ordering of items needed for food preparation

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $71,480.00 – $79,423.00 per year
