Summary

We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing, and family-friendly Announcer / Event Host to help lead the on-site experience for 5K Foam Fest, a high-energy family fun run event that attracts thousands of participants. This event would be held in Melbourne (Scoresby) on Saturday, November 28.

This role is perfect for someone with a big personality, solid stage presence, and the ability to keep a crowd engaged, excited, and informed throughout the day. Our ideal emcee is upbeat, comedic, sociable, quick on their feet, and comfortable interacting with kids, parents, participants, sponsors, and staff in a lively outdoor event environment.

You’ll help set the tone for the event, send participant waves out on time, make sponsor shoutouts, engage with the crowd between waves,



and create a fun, memorable atmosphere from start to finish.

Previous experience as an emcee, host, announcer, performer, event facilitator, brand ambassador, or public speaker is strongly preferred. Experience with family events, fun runs, festivals, sports events, community events, or other live entertainment settings is a major asset.
Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
Ability to work in a quick-paced environment.
Creative mindset with enthusiasm for sports and community events.
