Casual Waiter / Front of House Team Member

Gio’s Restaurant – Silverdale, NSW

Gio’s Restaurant is looking for a friendly and reliable waiter to join our front-of-house team on a casual basis.

We’re a busy neighbourhood restaurant serving Italian and Spanish-inspired food, with a robust focus on cooking over wood fire and charcoal. This is a excellent opportunity to work alongside our experienced fine-dining chef-owner and learn more about quality food, wine and professional restaurant service.

Responsibilities include:
Welcoming and seating guests
Taking food and drink orders accurately
Providing friendly and attentive table service
Serving meals and beverages
Learning the menu and confidently explaining dishes to guests
Clearing and resetting tables
Processing payments
Maintaining a clean and organised dining area
Working closely with the chef-owner, kitchen and front-of-house team

What we’re looking for:




Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
A genuine interest in quality food and customer service
A friendly, confident and professional attitude
Robust communication skills
Reliable, punctual and able to work well under pressure
Available Wednesday to Sunday, including evenings and weekends
Current NSW RSA certificate
A driver’s licence and reliable transport are essential, as public transport in Silverdale is limited

Casual hours and award rates apply, with the potential for additional shifts for the right person.
