Role Description The Lawn Care operative is a casual, on-site role based in the Hills district in NSW. In this position, team members provide support with lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, leaf blowing, and basic garden clean-ups. The role involves protected manual handling of equipment and materials, cleaning and maintenance of tools, and ensuring work areas are left neat and hazard-free. The Lawn Care Assistant will be expected to maintain rapport with customers in office, responding politely to questions and communicating any requests to supervisors. This role is suited to individuals who are resilient and adaptable, thrive in a hands-on,



outdoor setting, who also value explicit instructions, and are excited to grow within an industry that interests them.

Qualifications
Eligible candidates should possess strong manual handling skills and the ability to work safely with lawn care equipment and tools.
Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills, as respect and communication are key at Grass Blades
A strong applicant displays attributes of being reliable, with an eye for detail, and the ability to follow safety procedures and instructions from supervisors and sometimes even customers.
Basic experience in lawn care, gardening, or outdoor maintenance is beneficial; a willingness to learn on the job is essential.
Physical fitness is essential for repetitive outdoor tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

A working drivers license

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 38.0 per week
