We are looking for a reliable junior construction labourer / trades assistant to join our team.

This is initially a casual/part time position with the potential to become full-time for the right person.

You do not need to be qualified or highly experienced. We are looking for someone reliable, physically capable, willing to learn and happy to help with all types of construction work.

What you’ll be doing

The work will vary depending on the job and may include:

● General construction labouring

● Demolition

● Site clean-up and rubbish removal

● Carrying and organising materials

● Loading and unloading tools

● Assisting trades on site

● Cutting and preparing materials

● Mixing adhesives, grout and other products

● Tiling assistance

● Plaster and wall preparation

● Waterproofing preparation

● Basic installation work under supervision

● Material pickups and deliveries

● Keeping tools, vans and job sites organised

● General hands-on construction work as required

You will work alongside experienced tradespeople and will be taught more skills as you improve.

Construction experience is helpful but not essential.

Hours

Initially casual/part-time depending on workload.

There is potential for regular work and a full-time position in the future for someone who proves themselves reliable and helpful.

Pay

Pay will depend on age, experience and ability and will meet applicable employment requirements.

As your skills, speed and responsibilities increase, there will be opportunities for your rate to increase.
