We are seeking a technically solid Senior Accountant to support a period of transformation and growth. This role will focus on improving data integrity, strengthening financial controls, and ensuring the accuracy of the accounts before a major finance systems and process uplift. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing the organisation for increased automation, enhanced reporting.
The role commences immediately.

Description
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Reconciling statutory financial statements and audit adjustments to monthly management reporting
Supporting the migration of financial data from one system to another (Oracle)
Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and validating system data uploads
Enhancing the finance control framework and reporting governance
Ad hoc project accounting work as requested by SLT
Investigating and resolving discrepancies across systems, reports, and underlying financial data
Driving improvements in data accuracy, integrity,
and reporting quality to support Executive and Board-level decision-making
Profile
A successful candidate should have/be:
CA/CPA
Audit background highly regarded
A robust background in accounting and finance within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
Proven ability to manage financial operations and reporting processes effectively.
Experience working in an organisation experiencing transformation (ERP upgrade, implementation, business separation, acquisitions etc.)
Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in financial software and tools.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
