The Role
This is a challenging and vital role supporting the finance team with day-to-day accounting functions and financial reporting. Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with month-end closing processes and financial reports
Reconciling bank accounts regularly and accurately
Managing direct debit arrangements and supplier payments
Handling foreign exchange transactions and overseas payments
Maintaining and following up on accounts receivable
Processing supplier invoices through automated systems and verifying data integrity
Preparing management reports, including cash flow and margin analysis
Coordinating intercompany transactions and group account reconciliations
The Junior Accountant
A driven and detail-oriented individual with a strong foundation in accounting principles, eager to develop in a rapid-paced environment. Critical attributes include:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Numeracy and high accuracy when working with figures
Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups)
Strong attention to data integrity and process improvement
Analytical mindset capable of identifying trends and issues
Excellent organization and time management skills
Flexibility and a positive approach to change
Collaborative team player with good stakeholder communication skills
