Chapman Carpentry and Construction PTY LTD is seeking a Qualified Carpenter to join our growing team in Mount Isa, QLD. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on diverse carpentry and construction projects in a energetic regional setting. As a key member of our carpentry team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality construction work across residential, commercial and industrial projects. This role offers the chance to utilise your expertise, develop your skills further and be part of a company committed to excellence in the construction industry.
What you'll be doing
General carpentry, construction, maintenance and repair works
Framing, fit-outs, renovations and finishing works
Reading and working from plans and scopes of work
Working independently and alongside other trades
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe worksite
Producing quality work to a high standard
Looking after tools and equipment
Following all workplace health and safety requirements
What we're looking for
Certificate III in Carpentry
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality craftsmanship
Reliable, punctual and ready to work
Honest, respectful and easy to work with
Flexible across a variety of jobs - no two days will necessarily look the same
Represents Chapman Carpentry & Construction professionally when on site
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle – fuel card provided, with the chance for a company vehicle in the future
Own tools – all consumables supplied by the company
Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)
