About the role

NKA Academy is an early childhood education and care service located in South Wentworthville, NSW. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with educators, children and families to provide high-quality education and care in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and our centre's policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities
Plan, implement and evaluate age-appropriate educational experiences and learning programs.
Provide high-quality care, supervision and support for children.
Observe, document and assess children's learning, development and interests.
Support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Assist with children's daily routines, health, hygiene and wellbeing.
Promote positive behaviour and support children's social development.
Maintain a protected, hygienic, inclusive and engaging learning workplace.
Build positive and respectful relationships with children and families.




Work collaboratively with other educators and centre management.
Maintain appropriate documentation and records.

About you
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an equivalent recognised qualification
Relevant experience working in an early childhood education and care setting
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC), or eligibility to obtain one
Sound knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
Knowledge of child-safety and duty-of-care requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to plan and deliver appropriate learning experiences
Commitment to providing high-quality education and care to children
