About the role

TC Electrical Group is seeking a Skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team in Belmont NSW 2280. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the chance to work on diverse projects within the mechanical trade industry . As a Skilled Labourer, you will provide essential help to complete the project. Position is mechanical assistant

Key responsibilities
Assisting skilled tradespeople on site with installation, maintenance and repair tasks
Preparing work areas by clearing debris, organizing materials and ensuring sites are clean and protected
Operating and maintaining hand tools and light power tools in accordance with safety guidelines
Loading, unloading and transporting materials, equipment and supplies to and from job sites
Following health and safety procedures and reporting any hazards or incidents immediately
Supporting ductwork and PVC pipework installation
Assisting with site maintenance and keeping work areas tidy and organized
Communicating effectively with team members to ensure coordination and efficiency on site
Following instructions from supervisors and adhering to project specifications and timelines

What we're looking for




Proven experience as a laborer within the trades or construction industry
A solid understanding of basic electrical safety practices and site safety protocols
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy items
Proficiency in the use of hand tools and light power tools
A valid driver's license and access to reliable transport to reach job site
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Reliability and punctuality, with a robust work ethic and commitment to quality
A willingness to learn and develop skills under the guidance of experienced tradespeople
White Card or equivalent construction induction training
High standard of workmanship
