What you'll be doing
Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily preparation and cooking of meals in a rapid-paced hotel kitchen environment
Ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene are maintained
Collaborating with the team to develop and implement new menu items
Undertaking general kitchen duties such as stock control, food preparation and cleaning
Providing excellent customer service to hotel guests and restaurant patrons
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities
A team player with a positive attitude and passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Formal culinary training or qualifications would be highly regarded
