Role Overview

As a Wok Chef at Noodle Box, you’ll be the heart of the action—crafting wok-charred noodle and rice dishes with flair and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble a variety of noodle and rice dishes—including Pad Thai, Mongolian, Satay, Honey Soy, and Vegetarian specialties—exactly to our master recipes
Execute dishes with precise timing, tempo, and wok-char technique to ensure quality, consistency, and presentation.
Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked during service, following food safety and health regulations.
Work as part of the kitchen team—supporting team, communicating clearly, and helping maintain a flow that’s as smooth as our sauces.
Continuously learn and adapt, embracing menu innovations and seasonal specials as they arise.

Qualifications & Skills




Qualified experience as a wok chef or in a high-paced Asian kitchen environment—experience with Southeast Asian flavours ideal.
Mastery of heat control, timing, and the unique technique of wok-char cooking.
Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for consistency and speed.
Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a positive, can-do mindset.
Knowledge of food safety practices and allergen awareness.
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
