Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, the Warehouse Storeman will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the Seaford warehouse, including inventory control, picking and dispatch, receivals, freight coordination and general warehouse duties. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, organised and reliable team player with a robust work ethic and a commitment to safety and accuracy.
Key responsibilities
Receive, check and put away incoming goods and raw materials.
Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with regular stocktakes.
Ensure inventory transfers between locations are processed accurately and on time.
Monitor stock movements and follow up discrepancies as required.
Ensure all warehouse and freight documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Maintain a clean, secure and organised warehouse environment.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.
Follow all company OH&S;, operational policies, procedures and safety requirements.
About you
Previous experience working in a busy warehouse or manufacturing environment.
A current Forklift Licence.
Good attention to detail and a solid focus on accuracy.
Basic computer skills.
Experience using an ERP or warehouse management system; Pronto experience would be highly regarded.
Good communication and organisational skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A reliable and positive attitude.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
A willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
