We are looking for a reliable Sushi Kitchen Assistant to support our morning production team and help us deliver fresh, high-quality sushi every day.

The Role

Working alongside our Sushi Chef , you will help prepare ingredients, roll sushi, package products, and support a smooth morning production period before the lunch rush.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on kitchen work, takes pride in presentation and cleanliness, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do
Prepare vegetables, proteins, sauces, fillings, toppings, and other ingredients.
Assist with rice preparation and kitchen production tasks.
Roll sushi to established recipes and presentation standards.
Package, label, and arrange products for sale.
Restock preparation areas, packaging, and supplies throughout the shift.
Maintain a clean, organised, and food-secure workspace.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.




Assist with deliveries and stock storage where required.
Support the Sushi Chef and Manager with day-to-day kitchen operations.

What You Bring
Experience in food preparation, sushi production, or a commercial kitchen is required
Ability to follow recipes and instructions consistently.
Good attention to detail and presentation.
Ability to work efficiently during busy production periods.
Reliability and availability for weekday morning shifts.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Solid cleanliness and organisation skills.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
