About The Role

We are seeking Survey Assistants on a permanent full-time basis, DIDO from Sydney or Newcastle. In this role you will assist Senior Surveyors in carrying out a variety of survey works, ensuring outcomes are delivered to the required scope, schedule and standard.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with the setup of survey instrumentation and onsite preparation for projects
Assist with survey instrumentation maintenance and configuration of equipment as directed
Assist with the capture of field data as directed by lead surveyor
Ensure survey and compliance checklists are completed and correctly recorded




Assist with processing of field data as directed by lead surveyor
Demonstrate a commitment to WHSEQ and the assessment and management of health and safety risk that is consistent with Group WHSEQ policy, procedures, roles and responsibilities
Other duties and accountabilities as reasonably required and directed

Key Requirements
Certificate II in surveying, spatial science or similar (desirable)
Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various project sites
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
Valuable written and verbal communication skills
General Construction Induction Card
