This is an excellent MOT Technician prospect for a skilled skilled seeking a role within a reputable, family-run garage with outstanding customer reviews. The successful individual will join a dedicated workshop team and contribute to delivering high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs.

The MOT Technician role offers a competitive salary of up to £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 5:30pm, with the possibility of optional overtime. Duties of a MOT Technician:
n

Carry out fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles
n
Conduct MOT testing as an active MOT licence holder
n
Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and report on vehicle condition, safety, and performance
n
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
n
Work efficiently within a busy workshop environment, meeting set targets
n
Maintain high standards of work quality and customer satisfaction
n

Requirements of a MOT Technician:

Active MOT licence and relevant technical qualifications
n
Several years' post-qualification experience as a MOT Technician
n
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
n
Robust mechanical aptitudes and attention to detail
n
Ability to produce high-quality work consistently
n
Good team player with a committed attitude
